  • Introducing our new ✨Farm Feature✨ series: where we will give some much deserved love to our small farm owners! Our Farm Stop is an agricultural co-op owned by the farmers who sell here, so our Growers are more than just vendors, they are owners too!

This week we are honoring the incredible ✨ @barnhousefarms ✨ and all that they do for the Farm stop!

Sean & Chelssie provide our store with healthful ethically raised veggies & luscious homemade soaps- and Sean also serves as a member of our Board!

Barnhouse Farms is a gorgeous farmstead located in Spencer, Indiana. Chelssie & Sean are focused on truly integrating responsible animal husbandry with beyond organic growing practices.

These practices include but are not limited to: Their colony of bees frequent their crops, and their crops support their bees; their rotational grazing of goats and sheep crop down brush and prepare future cultivated areas; their chickens and rabbits provide incredibly valuable soil amendments, and in turn help to grow nutritious produce.

You can find @barnhousefarms at the Farm Stop 7 days a week, at @wooleryfarmersmarket & @bloomingtonwinterfarmersmarket, and through their CSA in the spring!

“We focus with all our hearts on a loop based system that allows at its core for maximum sustainability and ultimately, the nutrient density of our vegetables and fruits.”
